Advanced Practice Provider
My name is Rusha Khanal, a family nurse practitioner with a doctorate in nursing practice. My cultural heritage continues to influence my values, empathy, and commitment to patient-centered care. I am originally from Nepal.
I strengthened my clinical skills and dedication to holistic healthcare while completing my Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program at Chamberlain University. I recently obtained my DNP, which has increased my capacity to advocate, lead, and use evidence-based practice to improve health outcomes.
I am a proud mother of three amazing children who uplift and encourage me every day, and I am happily married. I've learned resilience, empathy, and the value of deep connections from juggling my responsibilities as a mother, wife, and clinician.
I have a strong interest in mentoring, lifelong learning, and supporting community health initiatives. I place a high importance on developing trust with the patients and families I work with, communicating effectively, and being sensitive to cultural differences.
I like to travel, spend time with my family, and maintain ties to my Nepali community when I'm not working.
