We are pleased to welcome Dr. Job Jacob to the Digestive and Liver Center of Florida. Dr. Jacob brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our practice, with a distinguished career in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
Dr. Jacob graduated from Madras Medical College, Chennai, India, in 1979, where he earned his MBBS. His training continued with a residency in Internal Medicine at Madras Medical College from 1979 to 1981. He further honed his skills as a Senior House Officer in Medicine in England from 1981 to 1987, before completing his Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago, Illinois, from 1987 to 1988, and at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI, from 1988 to 1990.
Dr. Jacob pursued a fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI, from 1990 to 1992, where he deepened his expertise in the field.
Dr. Jacob is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has held significant roles, including Chief of Medicine and Vice Chief of Staff at Medical Park Hospital in Hope, AR, and has been involved in various leadership capacities in GI lab management.
Dr. Jacob’s extensive experience and dedication to patient care make him a valuable addition to our team. We look forward to the expertise and compassionate care he will bring to our patients.
